Every Colvin Haven home is a singular commission one family, one landscape, one house that will never be built again.
The language is constant. Restraint, learned in kitchens rather than classrooms. Materials chosen for how they feel, not how they photograph. A kitchen at the center of every home, because that's where a life is actually lived. What changes is the canvas the land, the light, the hands each place gives us to build with.
Umah Tsuki and Sora are both written in Indonesia. They are the first two homes in a language built to travel one country, one canvas, at a time.

Set into a sloping site in Tumbak Bayuh, Bali, Umah Tsuki is a four-level family home, conceived by a former chef whose pursuit of a simpler, richer life closer to nature led him to design. Encased in shou sugi ban cladding under a sweeping roofline, a set of cantilevered volumes reference an archetypal Japanese wood cabin. Across 600 square metres, the constellation of spaces appears to float above a tranquil rock garden and koi pond. Extensive windows keep the rewilded jungle in constant view.

In both materials and construction, Umah Tsuki emphasizes provenance hand-built on site from locally sourced paras stone and recycled ulin hardwood, its traditional techniques and meticulous finishes set the scene for a quality of life attuned to the essential.
Twenty years of service taught one thing above all a home doesn't gather around a view, it gathers around a kitchen. So Tsuki's kitchen was never an afterthought. It sits at the heart of the home.
TSUKI (月 - Moon)
The second express in our collection. Not a smaller version of Tsuki, but its true essence distilled.
Where Tsuki was conceived for generous family living, Sora distils the same philosophy into an intimate, human scale. Every metre purposeful. Nothing wasted. Built entirely in-house design and execution, founder and craftsmen, nobody else.
The materials carry the same discipline as Tsuki's sourced from the island, not shipped to it. Nothing brought in that the land here couldn't already give us. It's a smaller footprint by design, and a lighter one by necessity building well, here, has always meant building with what's already local.
SORA (空 - Sky)
"Each Colvin Haven home is one of only a few. Not because scale wasn't possible, because it was never the point.
